Catering for learner diversity (照顧學習多樣性)
- Tailoring curriculum (cut down, extend or adapt the textbooks / teaching and learning materials)
- Providing a variety of teaching and learning activities to suit different needs and interests of the pupils
- Applying differentiated instruction, including but not limited to multi-sensory approach and diverse learning tasks
- Varying the input or materials given according to different abilities (e.g. asking different levels of questions)
- Providing different degrees or modes of support to the learners as needed
- Varying output, demands and expectations of learners according to their abilities (e.g. coverage of dictation content, homework amount, graded worksheets)
- Providing opportunities for collaborative learning / group work
- Making use of effective classroom organization (e.g. ability grouping, mixed ability grouping, appropriate seating arrangements)
- Providing special examination accommodation for pupils with specific needs (e.g. seating arrangement, exemption of certain parts, reading the questions to the pupil)
